Yes , too bad Mr Ortega is so self-loathing. I hope he someday comea to embrace his heritage after all of this.

Steve was campaigning and handing out propoganda at the St George (a church under non-profit status) festival last weekend. Didn't he and others sue Tom Brown for the very same thing--using a church for political purposes? So much for his belief that churches shouldn't be used for political purposes!!

On a similar note, Tania Chozet was stumping at the Gary del Palacio Center (city property) on May 8--a legal and ethical violation. She was introduced by the Zumba instructor, who is paid by the City of El Paso.

The man doesn't give a rip. Remember how he and others sued Tom Brown for using his church to campaign against him? Well, that didn't stop him from campaigning at St. George this past weekend. St. George is a church, Mr Ortega! So much for his belief in separation of church and state as he interprets it.

On a similar note, Tania Chozet was stumping on city property. May 8, she was presented to a Zumba class by the instructor at the Gary del Palacio center. This is a violation of ethics and city ordinance.

The Steve Ortega Campaign followed up with the following via my Facebook account:
"Martin,
My team researched the issue further and the Bain Construction we received the money through is indeed a company we can receive campaign funds from. They are an LLC.
We have decided to keep the contribution in light of our verification.
Thanks again for the opportunity to respond."

Well, to sound like a crazy, this really is part of Agenda 21. What they do (all thee cities that El Paso claims are doing it too) is they revitalize downtown. They put in a sports stadium, something they KNOW will fail. When it does fail, it causes an economic disaster area of downtown. Once the city says it is economically destitute, a whole bunch of new regulations kick in which basically allows the city to steal the properties downtown and essentially giving it to the NGO's (Non-governmental organization-- think Foster and Hunt, the city council's favorite NGO's.) BTW, Foster already owns much of downtown. The plan thereafter is to create these mixed use zones -- apartments upstairs, stores downstairs. This BTW, is the reason they needed that new proposition we are voting on now to allow alcohol on mixed use zones...

Democrats do not want to take your guns away. We just want sensible gun control. If a driver’s license is required to drive a car then a license should be required to buy a gun. You are buying into the same false arguments that the Republicans are throwing out.

",,,Mexicans may be devout but will follow their own version of the doctrine."

Mexicans will receive communion and not go to confession. Some will even believe the Pope is a false prophet., but the one thing they all strongly believe in is the veneration of Mary.

The Apostles never prayed to Mary, never saw her as a mediator, never believed she was conceived without sin, but the Mexican people firmly believe the Pope was correct when he declared the Doctrine of the Immaculate Conception. I believe their concept of Mary is more important than the Papacy.

Mariag, surely you jest. The El Paso PRAVDA (Times) deserves more than this. Who respects this so called journaist, other employees of Pravda, city employees? Just read a few articles about the city and what they are doing and you will find it to be a puff story making the city sound good. They have not even hinted at the deception and corruption going on by the city. Have you heard one thing about Plan El Paso being the local branch of the American Planning Association, which is one of the arms of the United Nations to push Agenda 21? Look uo ” Growing Smart: Legislative Handbook”. How come they have never mentioned that El Paso is a member city of ICLEI, which is another United Nations organization to push Agenda 21? I am not a journalist, but even I could find this out without even digging. Do not try to defend rhe El Paso Pravda, they are not worthy, and it demonstrates that either you are a gullible fool, or you are complicite in the deception.

Interesting website here.

The current city hall is being demolished without performing much salvage. I believe this is in order to rush the process. They left many cubicles and other objects that could be salvaged and sold or recycled.

Also, the city is in an illegal arrangement with the airport to lease property there.
